Representatives of the Magadan region took part in the meeting of the Association of NEAR

From October 24 to 26, 2023, the 14th General Assembly of the Association of North East Asia Regional Governments (NEAR) is to be held in a hybrid format (online, offline) at the Ulsan Exhibition and Convention Center (UECO) (Ulsan, Republic of Korea).

On October 25, representatives of the Magadan region took part in the 14th meeting of the General Assembly in an online format. The event was attended by 52 regions from 5 countries of Northeast Asia (Russian Federation, People's Republic of China, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mongolia).

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to transfer the chairmanship of NEAR to Liaoning Province (CN) for the next 2 years, as well as to include the Republic of Altai (RUS) and Gansu Province (CN) as new member regions of NEAR.
